Traditional Wok-Cooked Pakistani Karahi

Chicken Karahi is the heartbeat of Pakistani cuisine, and The Kolachi Kitchen's version stays true to its roots. Our karahi is cooked in a traditional heavy-bottomed wok over high heat, with bone-in halal chicken, fresh tomatoes, ginger-garlic paste, green chillies, and a carefully balanced blend of whole and ground spices. The result is a thick, glossy, deeply flavoured masala that clings perfectly to each piece of chicken.

Made Fresh with 100% Halal-Certified Chicken

We use only 100% halal-certified chicken, sourced fresh and never frozen. Each karahi is made to order, ensuring the spices bloom fully and the chicken remains tender and juicy. Finished with a generous handful of fresh ginger julienne, green chillies, and coriander — just like it's done in Karachi.

Our Chicken Karahi is ideal for sharing and pairs wonderfully with freshly made naan or paratha. Available at our Downtown Hargrave Street location (open until midnight daily) and the North Kildonan Whellams Lane location (lunch hours). Order online or visit us for dine-in.
